Because You Need to See More Bums & Strippers From the Star Wars Universe [Fine Art]

That old Ben Kenobi really was a damn fool. Mos Eisley wasn’t the galaxy’s most wretched hive of scum and villainy. It wasn’t even Tatooine’s (um, Jabba’s Palace?)! No, you want scummy villains, you head to the planet where all the action is: Coruscant.

This concept art from the upcoming Star Wars 1313 revels in the seedy side of the Star Wars universe, one we’ve really only seen briefly, at least in terms of video games, in titles like Dark Forces and Knights of the Old Republic.

We’ve got gamblers, hobos, beggars, even some Twi’Lek strippers if that’s your thing. As dirty and sun-deprived as they may be, it’s nice to see Star Wars with its proverbial pants down. Jedi and smartly-dressed Space Nazis get boring after a while.

You will have seen some of the pics last week in the game’s developer diary, but these are wallpaper-sized images, so I figured lovers of Fine Art would appreciate the encore!
