Beijing Is So Smoggy Right Now It Looks Like Blade Runner

Brian has compared the dangerous smog in Beijing to Silent Hill. Fair based on the pics available yesterday, sure, but new images show things look far worse, especially when the sun starts to go down.

Unless you’re a Blade Runner fan.

That image up top is not a still from Ridley Scott’s sci-fi classic. Nor is it a screenshot from Syndicate or Deus Ex: Human Revolution. That’s Beijing, planet Earth, 2013. The future is now, and it kinda sucks when you realise what looks cool on a screen is kinda dangerous in real life.
