What is the point of Sony’s Qriocity?

Well first off, how the heck ar you supposed to say that anyway? Cryo-city? Qwa-rio-city? Kraw-city? I haven’t a clue. But beyond that, what is the point? With media sharing, Pandora available on EVERYTHING (including your PS3’s browser), and mps player docks/ports an almost anything else, Vudu, Hulu and Netflix – why would someone pay for this? What possible good does it do unless you are so sold into Sony that you HAVE to get it? Unless they are pulling all Sony owned studio titles/labels off of any other service I can’t see how this makes sense. Oh and pulling their stuff off of other services? REALLY bad move if they did. It just doesn’t seem to be a well thought out plan . . . Oh wait. This is Sony. Nevermind.
