Tribute to the Classically Awesome Olden Nickelodeon Days (actually there are cartoon network guys in here too but.. eh)
Figured it was appropriate to start this off with an amazing, and yet most cheaply put together, host of childhoods past… Stick Stickly!!
While searching for the awesomeness of yesteryear, I came across this kick ass collage of cartoon characters (awesome alliteration if i do say so myself)
I was just watching Saturday morning cartoons with my daughter and reminscing about the amazing cartoons I grew up with…
Shows like Pete and Pete, Angry Beavers, and Dexter’s LAB-OR-A-TORY teaching us the value of irritating siblings.
And the powerpuff girls teaching that perfect-super-crime-fighting-adorable triplets can only happen when sleep deprivation, clumsiness, and Chemical X combine. Oh and that if you neglect your pet monkey it will turn evil. It will also not do good, and it will be bad and not nice.
Hey Arnold showing us that true love does indeed come in the form of insults and bullying 🙂
Weinerville showing us the importance of being well medicated 😛 haha actually thats one of my favorite ones!!

Haha so that was a lot weirder than I remember…
Getting advice on ALL THAT, from Lori Beth’s Vital Information and Dear Ashley (Thhhaaattt’s ME)!!
And then there are those cartoons that everyone knows and loves like Tom and Jerry
And don’t forget Doug and the Rugrats! There are many other shows that fill you with nostalgia!! What’s yours??
**Bonus**
Also, Balth sent this to me as his favorite comedy central thing ever, it’s basically amazing:

**Cartoon Trivia**
What is the name of the cartoon character (in the kick ass collage above) who has bread for a head, and what show is he from?
I know the answer, but since I actually am the one that gave you the answer; instead I shall go and wash the Bing off me.
I’m gooona guess it was a Nick toon cause I know pretty much nothing about nick toons. Art style looks similar to the Ripping brothers (which I never actually watched) but without cheating I have no idea. Then again to me most of those seem like RECENT cartoons, hardly qualifying as blast form the past material lol.
Its Toastman from The Ren & Stimpy Show.
*Buzzer noise* Oh! So close, but you are *incorrect*, sir.
Neo… ok ya got me there not that old but i have only seen so many years lol tho Rocky and Bullwinkle Show def shoulda made it haha
