The Olympics, Mordor Style

Oh hey, the Olympics are a thing that are happening! In honor of tonight’s opening ceremonies, here’s footage from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers accompanied by Vangelis’ Chariots of Fire theme. (Apparently, while one does not simply walk into Mordor, running there with a torch is completely acceptable). Sure, this video is goofy, big on spectacle and utterly pointless, but then again so are the Olympic Games themselves. I kid! (Via Geeks of Doom)
