The Critically-Panned Movies That Everyone Loves Now

The Critically-Panned Movies That Everyone Loves NowWhew! It’s been a long and dramatic day, at least here in the U.S. of A. Let’s kick back with an off-topic that has nothing to do with politics.

It’s great fun looking back at movies that everyone hated at the time, but which critics have come to embrace. And that’s just what Calum Marsh did in this article over at Indiewire, where he goes through a list of misunderstood films that have since found redemption.

I haven’t seen all of these, but it is pretty funny that critics thought The Exorcist was such trash. Because man, that is one excellently scary movie.

It happens to all of us, though – we see a movie we hate and come around to liking it. It certainly happens to me with music and games, as well. Any films out there you think you may have been to hard on the first time around?

Feel free to discuss movies, politics, or whatever else, here or over in the Talk Amongst Yourselves forum. Have good chatting, see you tomorrow.
