Tekken Tag Tournament 2 to Set a World Record

Namco Bandai Partners has announced it will attempt to set a World Record for ‘Largest screen used in a videogame tournament’, as officially recognised by Guinness World Records, at tomorrow evening’s Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Black Beta event.

The world record attempt will occur on Tuesday September 11 at the IMAX theatre in Darling Harbour, Sydney. The Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Black Beta, which will see over 400 IGN community members attend, will feature a fight off for a spot in the European Tekken championships.

“Tekken is the big daddy of fighting games and there’s no better way to find Australia’s next Tekken Champion than playing off head-to-head, on the world’s biggest screen,” said Mark Gilbert, sales and marketing director for NBP in Australia.
