Navy SEALs Punished for Medal of Honor Consulting

A group of Navy SEALs have been disciplined for allegedly sharing secrets while consulting on Medal of Honor Warfighter. According to CBS, seven members of SEAL Team Six still on active duty (including one who participated in the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden) worked as paid consultants on Warfighter and allegedly “used classified material which had been given to them by the Navy,” which “violated the unwritten code that SEALs are silent warriors who shun the spotlight.”

CBS notes that four additional SEALs who are not on SEAL Team Six but are still on active duty are also under investigation. The seven SEALs who have been punished “all received letters of reprimand which would kill their chances for promotion” and had half their pay taken away for two months.
