Meanwhile, in Apocalypse Movie News…

Now that we know the Mayans just got tired of chronicling a future long after they would be alive, let’s get back to being entertained, shall we?

As you may now, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are teaming up again on yet another movie about journeying to a legendary pub when an apocalypse happens (it’s probably not zombies this time). In a happy coincidence of timing, they wrapped just in time for the alleged apocalypse day, and Pegg just tweeted out the first official still. There’s not much to really be deduced from it – yes, it’s Pegg doing that confused look he does so well. Still, if Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were like two parts of a trilogy, then this is the third. And it just occurred to me I could probably say that about any three films, ever.
