Kids Want iOS Devices Over Consoles for Christmas

iOS devices are the most demanded pieces of tech by American children ahead of consoles and phones.

Nielsen conducted a survey in which they asked kids aged 6-12 and then 13+ what gadgets they would most like to receive in the next six months.

The iPad was the most demanded device in the 6-12 range, with 48% of those asked saying they’d want one. This was followed by Nintendo’s newly-released Wii U, which 39% of kids in the survey wanted. The iPod Touch, iPad Mini and iPhone round out the top five, with the first two piquing the interest of 36% of those asked, while 33% of participants fancied an iPhone.
