Getting to Know PlayStation 3’s HD Collections

New releases drive our industry forward. But one can’t know where gaming is right now and where it’s going in the future without knowing where it once was. Sony has embraced this mantra over the last couple of years with its reliance on HD collections, bundling together some classics (namely from the PlayStation 2 era) with an HD gloss, Trophy support and other random extras.

With the recent deluge of collections joining the ranks over the last couple of weeks, we thought it would be useful to discuss all of the HD bundles available at retail. What titles do these collections contain? What did IGN think of the individual games the first time around? Which are most worthy of your time? Those questions and more will be answered below.
