ChrisWarcraft's Weekly NFL Quest, Level Seven: Repel the Pewter Plunderers of the Southern Coast
Football is a role-playing game. That’s how Chris Kluwe, the Minnesota Vikings punter and noted World of Warcraft and RPG fan, is approaching it. Each week in the NFL, ChrisWarcraft characterizes his upcoming game in terms of an MMO quest. We’re going to chart his progress and see how fast he levels up.
This Thursday night game against a poor Tampa Bay means ChrisWarcraft’s Purple Vikings clan have a shot at coming out of this weekend sitting atop the NFC North server. They are also unvanquished in their home city, and that’s where tonight’s contest is.
This week’s quest:

Result: QUEST COMPLETED (Minnesota 21, Arizona 14. Kluwe: 7 punts, average 40 yards, long of 51, one inside the 20.) By far ChrisWarcraft’s busiest day of the year, but his support helped the Vikings’ defense complete a key side mission in the NFC realm.
ChrisWarcraft has completed five quests and failed two so far.
