Assassin’s Creed III, AC Vita Sell Huge Numbers

Fresh on the heels of the announcement that Ubisoft is making a new Assassin’s Creed game comes word that both Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation sold huge numbers.

Ubisoft has revealed that Assassin’s Creed III has sold a staggering 12 million copies across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC, and account for both digital and retail sales. Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, the PlayStation Vita exclusive, pushed 600,000 copies, a significant number considering PlayStation Vita’s limited install base of perhaps four million (though that’s merely an educated estimate).
