Alice in Wonderland to get 1,145,872nd "Dark" Re-Imagining

Because Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter taught us that faithful adaptations of well-loved fantasy stories do well, Hollywood plans to promptly ignore that point. Mainly because if something’s in the public domain, there’s no way to stop somebody else making a sequel unless you can throw in your own copyrighted elements.
