Remember Me Was Originally a PlayStation Exclusive
An interesting tidbit popped-up on Games Industry International concerning the recently-announced Capcom title Remember Me. According to an interview the website conducted with developer Dontnod’s co-founder Oskar Guilbert, the game wasn’t always a multi-platform affair and was, at one time, in development only for PlayStation 3 under the direction of Sony itself.
“Sony wanted to focus on a different type of game and we don’t really fit with that,” Guilbert explained. “But we’re in a very good relationship with them. They stopped a number of games last year at Sony and we took back the IP rights and were able to continue to develop it thanks to the support of the investors.
