With Watch Dogs coming out in just mere weeks, Ubisoft has revealed a new promo trailer that brings the abilities of Aiden Pearce into the real world.
Set up as a hidden-camera gag, customers come into a shop for a smartphone fix, but the store owner does more than that for the unknowing patrons. He adds a special app to their smartphone, which lets them hack streetlights, cars and even intersections — basically what Aiden Pearce is capable of in the upcoming Watch Dogs.
All of this comes to a head when the police show up, leading to laughs, surprises, and a tease for Watch Dogs, which comes out May 27. For more on the open-world game, be sure to check out IGN’s exclusive video series.
