Is there pizza in the prehistoric age?

By Joshua Yehl

IGN has an exclusive announcement that’ll make you want to shout “Cowabunga, dude!” and then go eat pizza: IDW Publishing is launching a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles: Turtles in Time comic mini-series.

The series will be written by Paul Allor and drawn by Ross Campbell with colors by David Peterson. This four-issue mini-series will follow Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo as they bounce from one time period to the next, starting with the prehistoric age. That means dinosaurs, y’all.
With the current ongoing TMNT comic series being awesome enough to earn a spot on IGN’s list of the Top 10 Indie Comics You Should be Reading, we certainly aren’t mad at even more TMNT goodness.
And in case you were wondering, “Turtles in Time” is also the name of a TMNT video game, but this comic has no relation to its story.
Take a look at the full solicit information below and then head to the comments to let us know if you plan on checking this new comic out!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time #1 (of 4)
Paul Allor (w) • Ross Campbell (a) • David Petersen (c)
A brand new mini-series from Paul Allor, Erik Burnham and some of the best IDW TMNT artists ever! The Turtles become unstuck in time and go spinning into the past! First stop: the prehistoric age, where they are far from the most dangerous reptiles around! Will the Turtles be able to find their way home without damaging history?
No time period is safe in this epoch-spanning epic!
