The Aussie team on Watch Dogs, Wolfenstein: The New Order, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Mario Kart 8 and more.

By Tristan Ogilvie

Punching, crotch-kicking, shooting and beheading? A gamer balks not at these things. Yet force us to eavesdrop on someone else’s conversation? Well, that just makes us feel kind of… Icky. Such is Baker and Tristan’s main problem with Watch Dogs, the record-breaking release from Ubisoft that allows the player to hack into the phone conversations of the pedestrians in its near-future Chicago setting. So hung up on it is Tristan, that he even recorded a song about it:

And with that shameless plug out of the way, let’s kick into the latest episode of the Pubcast!
Episode 96!
-Baker details how Wolfenstein: The New Order separates the German from the Germice.
-Watch Dogs: next-gen open world triumph or world’s least Japanese stalking simulator?
-Why Jude Law is totes hot as Mystique in X-Men: Days of Future Past!
-Drunken E3 2014 predictions.
-Why Mario Kart 8 has 150cc of power but lacks about 300cc of adrenaline.
-Baker gets mocked endlessly!
-PLUS the Facebook Mailbag, Luke’s secret shame revealed, and much more.
