Every week we go through the week’s biggest gaming news and narrow them down to five. Who stole the number one spot? Scroll down to find out.

Sony posted a 1.29 billion dollar loss for this fiscal year. These grim stats are largely due to their failing PC and 4K television business. Meanwhile the PS4 continues selling big for the company. Whether this will help out Sony in the long run, we’ll have to wait and see.

Grand Theft Auto 5 sold a grand total of 33 million copies. Take-Two Interactive Software revealed these new stats during an investors’ conference call this week. Also mentioned was an unannounced next-gen Rockstar game, due by March 2015. Hopefully we’ll get more details soon.

Ubisoft announced Far Cry 4! The game arrives November 18th in North America and November 20th in Europe for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. This next installment is set to take you to a fictional Himalayan region where a mad king has taken siege and kinda resembles a young Sir Patrick Stewart.

Microsoft unveiled a Kinect-less Xbox One. The console will sport an attractive new price tag of just $399 putting it head-to-head against the PS4’s price point. You’ll be able to get your hands on it when it releases June 9th.

Halo 5 is coming…next year! 343 Studios announced that Halo 5: Guardians will launch in the fall of 2015 for the Xbox One. Details are light but they said it will be a bigger effort than Halo 4 and have a brand new engine. 343 also hinted at more Halo this year but we’ll have to wait until E3 to find out what that is.

These were the top stories we found relevant but we’d like to know what gaming news mattered to you the most? Let us know in the comments below.
