Far Cry 4 DLC Adds 60 Minutes of Missions

Players who pre-order Far Cry 4 will receive the Limited Edition, a free upgrade that grants another hour of mission content and a unique weapon, according to Ubisoft’s blog.
The additional content, called Hurk’s Redemption, is split between three 20-minute missions. The DLC tasks players with rescuing the titular companion from jail, and also gives access to The Impaler, Hurk’s enormous harpoon gun. Hurk’s Redemption features firefights in ice caves, vehicle-based missions and the search for a rare artifact, according to Game’s advertisement for the upgrade.

The Limited Edition is available at all major retailers, and will release Nov. 18 in North America and Nov. 20 in Europe, for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. Judging by a Gamestop listing last month, a $30 season pass is available for future Far Cry 4 DLC, although no details have been released regarding specific content.
Ubisoft is promising a first look at Far Cry 4 at E3 next week, so stay tuned to IGN for more coverage of the upcoming open-world shooter.
