Destiny Pre-Orders Now Available on PlayStation Store

As promised, the pre-order comes with beta access.

Destiny pre-orders are now available for both PS3 and PS4 versions via the PlayStation Store.

It does not appear that you’ll be able to pay once for a copy on both platforms; the PS3 and PS4 versions are listed separately, both at $60 each.

As confirmed by Activision last year, the PlayStation pre-order includes eventual beta access, which is scheduled to begin in July. The PlayStation Store description recommends that you register at Bungie.net to link your PSN ID and ensure future notifications regarding beta access details.
Destiny reportedly cost $500 million to develop; here’s an amusing list of other things you could buy with that kind of money. The ambitious game, developed by Bungie, is due September 9 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
