To much relief, New Girl’s Season 3 premiere picked up right where the Season 2 finale left off, with Nick and Jess going “all in” on their new relationship. In an interesting moment, it had never occurred to either of them that starting a relationship and already living together might not be the best combo (especially when you account for two extra roommates). This spawned a spontaneous road trip to Mexico — though not without a few snags.
In many ways, “All In” was a defining episode of New Girl in that it was the first time we got to see Nick and Jess as an official couple. All in all, though, not much has changed — but in a good way. Their chemistry together was still just as natural here as it was in Season 2. Acutually, it might have even been better now due to the fact that they don’t have to hide their feelings for each other anymore.
