Pressing the Edit button in the top left gives you access to add or delete characters in the tracker. You may also change an entry's initiative order by dragging it to where you want while in edit mode. You must drag it by the icon on the far right (looks like an equal sign with 3 lines). WARNING: If you drag the top item futher down, you MUST press the 'Next Turn' button (in edit mode) in order to maintain the correct new initiative order. All new characters come into play in the default 'On' postition, as discussed below. When you are finished adding/deleting characters in the tracker, press the 'Done' button in the top left. Also, should you wish to delete everything in the list, you can do so at ANY time (not just in Edit mode) by pressing the trash can icon in the bottom middle of the screen. Be careful! There is no confirmation, nor any way to undo this at this time (look for a confirmation in the next update) |

To edit a tracker entry in iNit (you must not be in Edit mode as described above), simply touch the name of the entry you wish to work with. In our example here, details for Francis appear. You may use very long names like Skiggity Von Skamos II, but expect the names to be truncated in portrait orientation of your iPhone/iPod. You can keep track of HP (perhaps you may not for PCs), any status effects applied to that character, and their individual Initiative modifier. (see the screen 2 below this entry) For the HP section it is Current HP / Max HP. If your current HP is less than half of the max, it will show in red (meaning the creature is bloodied if you are playing 4E D&D) All characters added to the tracker start with the default In play to ON. If a character dies or for some reason you do not want it included in the next turn when pushing the 'next turn' button, turn it to the OFF position and it will be ignored. It will NOT leave an entry out of rolling initiative. If you wish to manually set initiative for something, simply change the Current Initiative number to what you want it to be. |

After you have made all your entries using the first two steps above, hit the 'New Encounter' button in the bottom left of the application (it looks like a circle with a pointer), and it will automatically roll initiative for everyone (based on 1d20+init mod listed in entry). In our example here, DragonZombie is in blue because he is the 'top of the round.' As you progress through the turns, you know when the round will be over as the blue item approaches. Also the Init value is now shown between the name and the HP value. Since DragonZombie's HP is less than half of his maximum, it is shown in red to denote he is 'bloodied' if playing 4E D&D. To progress to the next PC/NPC's turn, simply hit 'Next Turn,' which looks like a DVD play button. |

When you hit 'Next Turn,' it will alert you who's turn it is. This dialogue displays the item's full name, no matter how long it is/whether it is truncated on the init order listing. It also shows anything you've entered into the Status FX field for that entry. |

The ? button in the top right brings up the information contained on this page, albeit in briefer form. The in-app help page is out of date and will be overhauled in a newer version shortly, to take you to this page. |
