Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate Coming to Next-Gen Consoles

The hack-and-slash action of Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is now in development for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Tecmo Koei announced today.
Warriors Orochi 3 was originally released in 2012 and combined the worlds of Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors into one battle for the survival of humanity. Warrirors Orochi 3 Ultimate not only has enhanced graphics for the PS4 and Xbox One, but also includes a new main storyline and new side stories.

This edition also features new modes including One Warrior Against a Thousand Battles, which sends up to 100 AI against the player, online and offline competition modes, and Dual Mode, which is a blend of team battles and card battles. Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate has 145 playable characters, which includes several new crossovers and cameos from Dynasty Warriors, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Atelier, and Samurai Warriors.
Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate will have cross-play and cross-save support and will release in the fall on PS3 for $50, PS Vita for $40, and $60 for PS4 and Xbox One. Warriors Orochi 3 received an 8.5 review and an Editor’s Choice award from IGN for its “abundance of content” and amazing fan service.
This week Koei revealed the first details and images of its newest addition to the Warriors catalog, Hyrule Warriors.
