Samsung's Crazy-Cheap 4K Monitor is Even Cheaper Than Usual Right Now
With an MSRP of $700, Samsung’s new 4K display was already one of the best deals in tech, but today, Amazon has it for $100 less.
Packing more than double the pixels of, say, Monoprice’s 2560×1440 IPS display, and the equivalent resolution of four 1080p displays, this offers a pretty great bang for the buck, considering that 4K is still considered bleeding edge. Lifehacker has already discussed the benefits of using a 4K TV as your only monitor, but most 4K TVs in this price range are limited to 30Hz, whereas this display can push out a respectable 60Hz over DisplayPort.
We’ve seen it listed at $600 a couple of times before, but it’s never lasted long, so grab one while you can. [Amazon]
Update: Looks like Amazon has already sold through their stock, but you can still order it at this price (for now) and get it delivered once they have more.
