The Assassin’s Creed franchise will continue making appearances on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for the “foreseeable future,” according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.

Guillemot’s statement — which came during a financial call today — points toward plans in the works for a last-gen Assassin’s Creed game this year, likely to be the rumored Assassin’s Creed Comet. The codename was given to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game reported alongside Assassin’s Creed Unity, which is slated for release this year on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Comet is said to star Shay, a Templar, in 1758. According to the rumor, it will be a direct sequel to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and feature cameos from characters like Haytham Kenway and Adewalé.
