Newer Star Trek Into Darkness Trailer Shows Lots of Falling Stuff

And now we know the villain really is…nahh, they don’t tell you in this trailer either.

Does anyone else think Cumberbatch is consciously mimicking Patrick Stewart’s voice, though? A Kirk versus Picard storyline – even if it’s an alternate-universe, extra-dimensional young Picard – seems like exactly the sort of thing J.J. Abrams and his crew would love to pull off. Until we know better, I’m going to enjoy thinking that’s the real deal. In the meantime, the various ginormous shots of cityscapes and floating space stuff look like something I can’t wait to melt my eyeballs upon in 3-D Imax.
