Bayonetta 2 Going to Wii U Isn't a Platform Change, from Its Creator's Certain Point of ViewSome interesting doublespeak comes out of Tokyo Games Show, as reported by Polygon. Platinum Games’ executive director Atsushi Inaba affirmed that Bayonetta 2 wouldn’t exist without Nintendo publishing it. Most folks already saw it that way, but he put it on the record with Polygon, so there you go.

But then, “We are not viewing this as a change of platform,” Inaba told Polygon. “We were looking for a partner to create Bayonetta 2, and Nintendo was a strong, cooperative partner that was willing to create and grow Bayonetta 2 together.”

So then, what, Bayonetta 2 added the Wii U and lost the PS3 and 360 as platforms? OK.
